Woodgrain nameplate- Tried woodgraining for the first time.

 When was the last time you Tried something new. I did it today and loved the outcome.

Tried my hands for the first time at wood graining technique. Yup what you see here is completely handmade. The base is MDF and I used acrylic paints and wood graining tool. I loved it.

The devil is in the details. Yup details in na project are what make it extra special. So here are a few details from my recent nameplate that I made recently. Love this nameplate coz I had a customer who was referred to me by one of my previous customers. So when you get referrals that proves that you did everything right.

Jumping with joy for having created this nameplate. Loved every bit of the process.

Never stop dreaming- DT inspiration for IQCG81

 Heya folks,

This is my 1st DT project for @indianquillingchallenge. The theme for this month is to use the 7 colours of the rainbow predominantly in the project.

This is my take on the challenge.

Thin cut die for rainbow base, chipboard sentiment, quilling strips and the base canvas is from- @itsybitsycraftstore.

Quilling techniques in the project-tight coil(sun), marquise(sunrays), scrolls(blue clouds), crushed beehive( rainbow, white clouds), edge quilling(ladder).

Base is a 6/4 inch canvas, background covered with @tim_holtz stencil and coloured using acrylic colours from @camlin_official.

DT call- Indian Quilling Challenge Group.

Hope everyone is safe and are keeping indoors as much as possible. 

So today's blogpost is about my application for DT call at Indian quilling challenge group. 

Quilling has always been a great stress buster for me and it would be great to be a DT again at Indian quilling challenge. 

So here are a few of my favorite quilling works that I have done. 

First one is my most favorite 3d project I have done. 

Next comes a project that is my first working with 1mm quilling strips. 

Nameplates have always been my favorite to work on. Especially with time I have incorporated multiple techniques which adds to the charm.

Nameplates are the first thing someone sees at the entrance that shows them a glimpse of your personality. So when you have something handmade, it does make it easier for everyone to understand the person you are since we can customise it completely to the way you want it.

Recycle/upcycle a cosmix container with me.

 Heya folks!!!

Today I took over @thecosmixway stories to share my cosmix journey. Whilst at it, did a few DIY's. 

This is one of them where I convert a used cosmix container to something new that can be reused for keeping some knick knacks.

Removed all the labels and used fevicol to stick the jute twine around the container and the lid. Added a paper flower on the lid later and voila the project is done. This took me about 15 mins to put together. You can try it too. In case you do try it out, don't forget to tag me. BTW you can definitely do it on larger surfaces!!!
