Mixed Media work!!!

Hey!!!
After all the exams and lot of studying, it surely is great to get back to crafting. And trying something new is always a great way to start off I would say!!
I started doing mixed media work after being inspired by ContadinaK's works on her youtube channel... she surely does wonders.. I really love her work.
I wanted to try out something small first so made my first mixed media artwork right the next day I finished exams...
You can see my first attempt at mixed media art on my facebook page here.

Ok Now for the actual post!!!
This is gonna be a huge post so hold on!

I tried my hands at mixed media art yet again but went on with a lighter colour theme instead of the full fledged Dark one Like I did In the first one...
Found this super sturdy chipboard letter from the Itsy Bitsy Store at BEL rd, Bangalore.

First of all I added a coat of gesso then added masking tape in some areas and Petunia-ylw and green paper napkins that I had bought a long time back and used a layer of mod podge on top and let it air dry. While adding the paper napkins I added them in small peices.

After It was all dry, I went on to using Mini Punchinella Template,AC Stencils Mask set-bubbles and paper doilies. I tore the one Paper doily into half then and then agian in half and used it so that most of the doily is visible. Again applied mod podge and let them air dry.

Used Stamp sets-Prima honeycomb stamp and Prima Ladybird background stamp set. I stamped them using Stazon Jet black inkpad.
Next I applied a Light coat of gesso. I wanted to see the difference between how they look when the work is coated only with little amount of gesso rather when the whole work being covered with thick  coat of gesso which I tried in the 1st try in mixed media work ( the pic can be seen here).
I got so carried away that I didn't pics of the steps after this... but here's jist of what I did after-
I then sprayed a cardstock with the 3 Lindy's starbusts sprays I already used to make the background for stamping Aparna using Scrappy Cat Playful Serif Alphabet Stamp and distressed the edges of it using TimHoltz Aged mahogany.
And used punches to cut out 5 petal flower medium and 6 petal flower form the same sheet that I had sprayed with the Lindy's Sprays which I later shaped into roses. Added felt stickers of a teddy bear and used black thread to stick on the felt balloons.

Lastly Used Viva decor- Gold and Silver Paint for final touches.

Tada....And this is what it finally looks like...
