Heya folks,
A boring plain photoframe gets a facelift.
Mixed media techniques used to make a frame which radiates love.
Steps followed:
1) Used thin layer of gesso to cover up the base colour of the phtoframe. Only a thin layer was used so that the texture of the base frame still shows through for some added interest.
2) Added some texture using texture paste and damask stencil from tim holtz.
3) Lindys stamp gang sprays were used to add in colour and sparkle.
4) Chipboard element from Itsy bitsy was added to the top left corner and was colored to match the frame. Accents of quilled handmade flowers were added for increased interest.
5) Bottom left corner- A cluster of flowers was made with paper flowers that included quilled handmade flowers.
6) Finally everything was sealed with a coat of varnish.
Thanks for stopping by.
Lots of love,
Dr. Pratyusha
